A company is seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead the development of micro power plant projects in Poland. The Technical Director will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of the projects, from site evaluation and selection to construction and commissioning. This role requires leadership and expertise to ensure the successful execution of the projects.
Core Functions
Key responsibilities include leading the technical delivery of nuclear micro power plant projects in Poland, managing a team of engineers and technical specialists, developing project plans and schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project budgets and documentation, communicating project progress, and identifying and mitigating technical risks and issues. The Technical Director will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and government officials.
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in engineering, project management, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering or project management, preferably with a focus on energy projects. An ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of the nuclear energy market, including regulations, codes, and standards. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are also required, along with experience working with regulatory bodies and government officials. Travel may be required.
