Our client is one of the key wind and solar energy players with a solid position in the market. For their team in Szczecin we are looking for Senior Business Development Manager.
What we are looking for
- Purpose of the job: Acquire Wind and Solar projects / Develop Partnerships to Co-Develop Wind and Solar projects in Poland
- Main Responsibilities:
- Leads the sourcing of relevant RES opportunities in Poland from under development to ready-to-build (RTB);
- Leads and performs analysis regarding business opportunities in wind and solar power projects
- Manages the investment cases/negotiations with Partners from start to conclusion of deals;
- Provides relevant information to optimize the implementation of the group strategy ;
- Monitoring changes and potential regulatory threats and analyzing their impact on the actions taken,
- Develops tools and optimises processes used in wind and solar power project development
- Represents the Company to outside partners
- Contributes to short, mid, and long-term plans for wind and solar power business development
- Provides on-the-job training, technical presentations, and ongoing coaching to other team members to ensure knowledge transfer regarding i.a. wind and solar resources assessments
- Participate in building and managing strong and reliable relationships with authorities, politicians, landowners, interest organizations, suppliers, and other stakeholders essential for wind and solar project development
- Working and leading in a matrix organization with internal support function teams (Asset Commercialization, engineering, legal, etc.)
Who we are seeking
- Know How & Experience & Education:
- 5-10 years of experience in Project Development/ Business Development in Poland
- competences gained through work in the RES project development department and participation in transaction processes in cooperation with the M&A department (initiation, preparation and implementation of transactions, coordination of the due diligence process),
- Understanding and use of financial tools/ economic models: capacity to develop innovative, profitable business models
- initiative in taking action, creativity, looking for solutions,
- Language skills: English, Polish.
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment
- Understanding and use of topographic and GIS applications
Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written
