Our client is an international company with presence in 4 markets and one of the leaders in the renewable energy industry providing construction and engineering services for major investors and utilities in the sector. For their Romanian team we are now searching for a Road Works Site Manager with experience in the management of road works or highways.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Execution of road infrastructure

• Responsible for (permanent and temporary):
  • Access roads
  • Internal roads
  • Crane platforms

And ensures proper execution of:

• Earthworks
• Sub-base and base layers
• Surfacing

2. Technical implementation

• Implements:
  • Road design drawings
  • Profiles and levels
• Ensures:
  • Correct geometry
  • Load-bearing capacity

3. Quality control -Ensures:

• Proper compaction
• Material quality
• Coordinates with:
• Testing laboratory

4. Logistics interface

• Coordinates road readiness for:
  • Heavy transport (blades, towers)
• Ensures:
  • Turning radii
  • Slope limitations
  • Bearing capacity

5. Team & subcontractor management

• Manages:
  • Road crews
  • Earthworks subcontractors

6. Safety management

• Controls risks related to:
  • Excavations
  • Heavy machinery
  • Transport routes

7. Reporting & coordination

• Reports to:
  • General Site Manager
• Aligns with:
  • Overall construction schedule
