Our client is an international investor with offices in Europe and the Americas. For their office in Warsaw we are currently looking for a Legal Professional with experience in Regulatory Affairs, specifically energy markets, concessions and tenders.

In this role you will have a chance to work in a large in house legal team as well cooperate externally with top local and international law firms in the field.

Main accountabilities:

• Reviewing and preparing contracts
• Providing opinions and preparing and implementing internal procedures, policies and practices
• Participation in legal due diligence processes
• Advising on the day-to-day operations
• Keeping abreast of current legal developments in the market to adjust internal procedures and policies
• Providing legal support to the organization in all ongoing matters, including the exchange of information necessary for coordination, centralization and consolidation of the Group

Our requirements

• Master’s degree in law
• Experience in the broad field of regulatory law: power market, auctions, concessions
• Good knowledge of energy law, corporate law and administrative law regulations
• Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents
• Experience in interpreting legal regulations in practice
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Good interpersonal, communication, public speaking and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines
• Good time management skills and ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize
