LAND MANAGER

For our Client, global energy company from renewable sector we are looking for Land Manager.

Job Description:

As a Renewable Energy Land Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of renewable energy projects in Poland. Leveraging your industry knowledge and experience, you will secure the land for wind (and potentially solar) renewable energy projects, ensuring they are secured on time and within budget. This position reports to the Origination Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identifying Potential Sites: Scouting and identifying suitable locations for renewable energy projects, based on various criteria like geography, climate, and land characteristics.
  2. Negotiating Land Deals: Skillfully negotiating terms and agreements with landowners for the lease of land, ensuring fair and legally sound transactions.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with local communities, landowners, and other stakeholders to build positive relationships and address any concerns related to the renewable energy projects.
  4. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, engineers, environmental specialists, and legal teams to ensure coordinated and efficient project progression.
  5. Conflict Resolution: Addressing and resolving any disputes or issues that arise during the land acquisition process, including negotiating solutions to conflicts with landowners or other involved parties.
  6. Reporting and Documentation: Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records of land transactions, negotiations, and pertinent project data.

Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, real estate, law, geography, or urban planning. Advanced degrees in related fields may be preferred for more senior roles.
  2. Experience in Land Acquisition: Proven experience in land acquisition, real estate, or a related field, specifically with a focus on negotiating and securing land for large-scale projects. Experience in renewable energy projects is highly desirable.
  3. Knowledge of Environmental Regulations and Zoning Laws: A deep understanding of Polish environmental regulations, zoning laws, and land use planning, particularly as they apply to renewable energy projects.
  4. Strong Negotiation and Communication Skills:Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including landowners, government officials, and community groups.
  5. Project Management Expertise: Solid project management abilities, including budget management, strategic planning, and risk management, to effectively oversee multiple aspects of the land acquisition process within the framework of larger renewable energy projects.
