We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join a well-established company operating in the renewable energy sector. As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing financial reporting, controlling activities, budgeting, and supporting the management team with reliable financial insights. You will work closely with both local and international stakeholders, contributing to the company’s continued growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- repare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for lenders and management.
- Monitor financial performance and provide management with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and controlling processes.
- Oversight of the accounting function (performed by external service providers) for holding company and SPVs.
- Support the preparation of statutory and management reporting.
- Follow up and monitor project finance agreements, including compliance with reporting obligations, financial covenants, and distribution requirements, serving as the main point of contact for financial institutions.
- Oversee the accounting function performed by external service providers for multiple legal entities, including holding companies and project SPVs.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners.
- Support tax planning activities and review corporate tax matters.
- Develop and improve financial controlling tools, reports, and internal processes.
- Monitor project profitability and operational performance.
- Support strategic business decision-making through financial analysis and business partnering.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable financial regulations.
- Follow-up and monitoring of project finance agreements, including reporting obligations, financial covenants, and distribution requirements, acting as the main point of contact for financial institutions.
- Tax planning and review of corporate tax matters
What We Are Looking For:
- Several years of experience in Financial Controlling or a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and corporate finance.
- Experience with project finance structures and financing agreements is highly desirable.
- Experience overseeing accounting activities performed by external accounting providers.
- Knowledge of corporate tax matters and tax planning principles.
- Experience working in an international business environment is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
