Our client is one of the leading European investor in renewable energy projects. Currently for their team in Poland we are looking for a Financial Analyst for their Financial Department.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Financial Reporting Support: Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including analyses.
2. Budget Preparation and Monitoring: Assisting in budget preparation, closely monitoring expenditures, and preparing variance analyses.
3. Audit Process Support: Assisting senior financial staff with external auditors during financial audits, including analytical reviews.
4. Support in Financial Modeling for Renewable Energy Projects: Assisting with financial modeling for renewable energy projects, including wind and PV power plants, energy storage, and biogas.
5. Involvement / Assistance in project valuation, profitability analyses, and assessing the viability of projects and financing structures.
6. Management of Financial and Corporate Documentation: Overseeing the organization and archiving of financial & corporate documentation, including invoices, contracts, bills, bank statements, and others.
7. Providing support to Project Managers in the analysis of received offers, negotiated contracts etc. ensuring thorough financial evaluation.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Education: Higher education preferably in finance, accounting, or related field.
2. Professional Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a financial analysis role, preferably with exposure to the renewable energy sector.
3. Knowledge of IT Tools: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, VBA). Knowledge of financial modeling (and/or willingness to expand this knowledge) and familiarity with the FAST standard will be considered an additional advantage.
4. Basic Knowledge of Databases (and/or willingness to expand this knowledge): Database systems, especially those integrated with MS Office, like MS Access. Experience in working with large datasets and database management , will be considered an additional advantage.
5. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare detailed reports.
6. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines.
7. Organizational Skills: Good work organization, ability to prioritize tasks and work to deadlines.
8. Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
9. Knowledge of English enabling fluent communication and work with documentation (minimum B2).
10. Experience in renewable energy sector, particularly in electricity sales models and Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), will be considered an additional advantage.
