We are currently looking for a Solution Engineer ETRM
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining and ensuring the stability of the ETRM platform from both functional and technical perspectives, including (but not limited to) managing key components of the Openlink Endur system.
- Comprehensive management and implementation of change requests as well as optimizing solution deployment time according to business needs, with a particular focus on front office solutions.
- Continuous improvement of IT and business processes and their implementation in IT systems.
- Analyzing and solving complex business problems in areas such as Trading, Origination, Risk, and Operations.
- Business analysis, project management, and consulting for short-term projects and medium- and long-term technical projects.
- Testing and validating new application versions.
- Communicating with users and vendors, working closely with the ETRM analysts’ team within the Axpo Group.
- Supporting operational teams in case of issues with the ETRM platform.
- Modeling new types of contracts within the ETRM platform.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a degree in computer science, finance, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrate leadership competencies and strong analytical skills.
- Have experience with Openlink Endur v16.0 or later (preferred) and application management and configuration.
- Bring knowledge of ETRM/FTRM/CTRM systems, ideally with user or support experience in enterprise applications like Endur, SAP, or Oracle Financials.
- Be familiar with databases (e.g., MSSQL, Snowflake, Databricks) and programming languages (e.g., Python, C, Java, VB, .NET, OpenJVS).
- Understand the energy trading sector and utility business operations.
- Communicate effectively, with fluent English and native Polish proficiency.
- Exhibit a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in dynamic, demanding environments.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment.
