Our client is one of the leading contraction companies specialised in large-scale energy infrastructure projects. They are now expending in Romania and seeking for SITE ENGINEER (Inginer de Șantier)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Execution of construction works

• Execute and supervise works according to: Technical design (Proiect Tehnic – PT), Execution details (DDE)
• Translate drawings into clear instructions for site teams
• Ensure all works are performed in accordance with approved documentation

Setting out, verification & technical control

• Coordinate with surveyor for layout of: Turbine foundations, Roads and platforms
• Verify: Coordinates, Elevations, Dimensions
• Ensure compliance with design geometry and tolerances

Supervision of subcontractors and workforce

• Supervise daily activities of: Subcontractors, Workers
• Ensure: Correct execution methods, Compliance with drawings and specifications
• Identify and resolve execution issues on site

Quality control and inspection preparation

• Ensure works comply with: Technical specifications, Quality standards
• Prepare and participate in: RTE verifications, Diriginte inspections, Faze determinante
• Ensure all required checks are completed before progressing works

Quantity measurement and progress tracking

• Measure executed works and prepare: Work progress reports (situații de lucrări)
• Track: Quantities vs BOQ, Daily/weekly progress
• Support payment certification process

Technical coordination and issue resolution

• Raise and track: RFIs (Requests for Information)
• Coordinate with: Designer, Site Manager
• Ensure implementation of technical clarifications and design updates

Health & Safety compliance (operational level)

• Ensure all site activities comply with safety rules
• Monitor: Worker behavior, Unsafe conditions
• Report incidents and support HSE implementation

Construction logbook management (Registrul de șantier)

• Maintain and update daily: Site activities, Weather conditions, Instructions and decisions
• Ensure all entries are accurate and complete

Document control and drawing management

• Manage and distribute: Approved drawings, Latest revisions
• Ensure: Only valid versions are used on site
• Maintain structured filing system of all technical documents

Correspondence and communication tracking

• Register and track: Site instructions, RFIs, Technical communications
• Maintain full traceability of decisions and approvals

Permits, approvals and inspection tracking

• Monitor status of: Permits, Technical approvals, Inspection reports
• Ensure all required approvals are obtained before execution

Preparation for inspections and audits

• Prepare complete documentation for: RTE, Diriginte de Șantier, State Inspectorate for Constructions Romania
• Ensure works are fully documented and traceable

Reporting and documentation

• Prepare: Daily reports, Weekly progress updates
• Maintain consistency between: Physical progress, Reported progress

Archiving and final documentation

• Maintain organized archive of: All site documentation
• Prepare inputs for: Final construction book (cartea construcției)

Traceability and compliance assurance

• Ensure each executed work has: Supporting documentation, Inspection records, Approval records
• Maintain full audit trail of construction activities
