Our client is one of the leading contraction companies specialised in large-scale energy infrastructure projects. They are now expending in Romania and seeking for ROAD WORKS MANAGER (Șef de Șantier Drumuri)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Road Infrastructure Execution

• Oversees the construction of both permanent and temporary road infrastructure, including:
  • Access roads
  • Internal roads
  • Crane platforms
• Ensures proper execution of:
  • Earthworks
  • Sub-base and base layers
  • Final surfacing

2. Technical Implementation

• Applies:
  • Road design drawings
  • Profiles and elevation levels
• Verifies:
  • Accurate road geometry
  • Required load-bearing capacity

3. Quality Assurance

• Ensures:
  • Adequate compaction levels
  • Compliance with material specifications
• Coordinates closely with:
  • Testing laboratories

4. Logistics Coordination

• Prepares and coordinates road infrastructure for:
  • Heavy transport (e.g., blades, towers)
• Ensures compliance with:
  • Turning radius requirements
  • Slope limitations
  • Load-bearing standards

5. Team and Subcontractor Supervision

• Manages:
  • Road construction crews
  • Earthworks subcontractors

6. Health & Safety Oversight

• Monitors and mitigates risks related to:
  • Excavation works
  • Operation of heavy equipment
  • Transport routes on site

7. Reporting and Coordination

• Reports progress to:
  • General Site Manager
• Ensures alignment with:
  • Overall construction timeline
