For our client, a solid IPP with experience in wind and solar project development in Poland and over 20 years of presence in the country, we are now searching for HSE Manager – Poland (Warsaw)

Responsibilities:

• Inspect workplaces, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
• Identify hazards and unsafe practices and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses and prepare incident reports.
• Develop and update safety procedures, emergency plans, and the annual HSE training matrix.
• Cooperate with project teams, HR, and contractors to improve safety performance.
• Maintain HSE documentation, inspections, and compliance records.
• Review and approve contractors’ HSE documentation (CMP, CHSMP) and monitor implementation during construction.
• Ensure contractors comply with legal and contractual HSE requirements (EPC).
• Oversee environmental compliance (EIA screening, waste management, BDO records, environmental monitoring).
• Ensure compliance with lender, ESG, and regulatory requirements, including UDT inspections where applicable.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7- 10 years of experience in workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
• Experience on construction or PV and/or Wind sites.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and Polish HSE regulations.
• Experience with electrical work and work at height.
• Very good command of English.
• Familiarity with lender requirements (e.g., EBRD PR1, ESR2, ESR4) is an advantage.
