Our client is one of the leading contraction companies specialised in large-scale energy infrastructure projects. They are now expending in Romania and seeking for GENERAL SITE MANAGER.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Site Execution Oversight

• Holds full accountability for the execution of all on-site activities
• Oversees and coordinates:
  • Civil works (e.g., foundations, roads, platforms)
  • Electrical works (in collaboration with the Electrical Manager)
  • Subcontractor operations

2. Site Team Management

• Supervises:
  • Foremen
  • Engineers
  • Subcontractors
• Ensures effective:
  • Workforce distribution
  • Utilization of machinery and equipment

3. Compliance with Legal and Permit Requirements

• Guarantees that all works are carried out in accordance with:
  • Building permits (Autorizație de Construire)
  • Approved technical documentation
• Ensures proper execution of:
  • Designer’s instructions
  • Regulatory and authority requirements

4. Construction Documentation Control

• Maintains and oversees the construction site logbook (registrul de șantier)
• Ensures accurate recording of:
  • Site activities and events
  • Issued instructions
  • Any deviations
• Documentation is subject to regular review by the State Inspectorate for Constructions

5. Quality Assurance Coordination

• Prepares works for:
  • RTE (technical execution) verification
  • Approval by the Site Supervisor (Diriginte de Șantier)
• Participates in mandatory inspection stages (faze determinante)

6. Health & Safety Management

• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations on site
• Works closely with the HSE Coordinator

7. Progress Monitoring and Reporting

• Monitors:
  • Progress against the project schedule
  • Potential delays and risks
• Provides regular updates to the Project Manager

8. Coordination with Key Stakeholders

• Maintains daily communication with:
  • RTE (execution compliance)
  • Site Supervisor / Diriginte (investor’s representative)
  • Designer (technical clarifications)
