Our client is one of the leading contraction companies specialised in large-scale energy infrastructure projects. They are now expending their cost estimation division and seeking a skilled Cost Estimator / Tender Specialist (Civil/Electrical) to support their construction projects. You will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, managing supplier offers, and ensuring high-quality tender submissions in line with investor requirements.
Requirements:

Higher technical education in civil engineering (preferred specializations: road or building construction) / electrical engineering / power engineering
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position
- Ability to read and interpret project documentation.
- English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2).
- Experience in the renewable energy sector is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and flexibility in performing tasks.
- Willingness to occasional business trips and a valid Category B driving license.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, MS Project) and CAD tools.
- Knowledge of material and service prices in the construction and renewable energy sectors.
- Knowledge of construction processes and applicable regulations in Romania will be an advantage
Job Description
- Interpret investor requirements to prepare cost estimates, offers, and budgets in the required format.
- Request quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and project-specific resources; analyze offers based on competence and reliability.
- Review and verify project documentation for technological, financial, and optimization aspects in collaboration with designers and site managers.
- Prepare pricing for construction works based on tender documentation, project specifications, and internal calculations.
- Cooperate closely with internal departments, the Investor, the Project Department, and the Implementation Department.
