Our client is a project development vehicle part of an international investment holding focused on RES projects, primarily from the BESS and Solar PV sector. For their team in Warsaw we are now looking for a Senior Business Development Manager-Senior Originator who will be responsible for:

·       Being a front person proactively searching viable projects to achieve yearly goal,

·       Establish an excellent network of contacts with potential customers (PV developers, investment companies, banks) to find and acquire the right amount of MW,

·       Have an outstanding skills to originate viable projects and secure them at the proper stage (be the person that developers will contact as a first contact point),

·       Market research and screen for potential projects to acquire at very initial stage,

·       Represent the comaopny at conferences, public meetings, and other presentations,

·       Annual acquisition of PV projects in Poland ranging from 600 MW to 1 GW in Ready-to-Build (RtB) status.

We are looking for a person who is open-minded and has a natural ability to build exellent relationships with business partners. A key skill would be to create excellent network with PV developers / investment companies who may be our potential business partners.

The Senior Originator is responsible for ensuring that projects acquired by the company are truly RtB projects and brings them to FID with the holding’s management.


  • 10+ years of business development (or Energy Origination) experience,
  • Understand general guidelines for PV project with RtB status.
  • Proven track on Business Developement/Originating projects with exposure to customers B2B business partners,
  • Proven track record of PV project origination (advantage) in Poland,
  • Understanding Polish renewable and PV market,
  • Team player alert to business development opportunities
  • Problem-solver, pro-active and results-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective skills to engage and communicate with all stakeholders internally and external
  • Acquire on time the required volume of RtB projects in good quality at the lowest price possible
  • Manage a pipeline of projects / acquisitions targets, provide weekly update to management
  • Education in finance, engineering or law preferred.
  • Strong Analytical skills
