Our client is one of the most well known and successful wind and solar developers and IPPs in the country. For their growing team in Warsaw, they are now looking for an experienced Senior Connection Manager.

Main responsibilities:

1. Development a strategy for connecting new wind and solar projects to the DSO / TSO grid,

2. Managing the process of submitting applications for obtaining the conditions for connecting to the DSO / TSO network,

3. Negotiations with operators and other partners to obtain connection conditions and sign grid connection agreements,
4. Responsible for the expansion of own DSO

5. Technical support to the projects under development to comply with grid connection requirements,

6. Conducting technical due diligence and risk assessments regarding connection to the grid received from the DSO / TSO and to projects under M&A,

7. Conducting and / or supervising analyzes and expert opinions necessary to obtain connection conditions and optimal power plant operation, including reactive power compensation analysis,

8. Technical support to obtain ION and EON certificates,

1. ACADEMIC LEVEL 

• Engineering bachelor degree in electrical, mechanical works or similar. 

2. REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar or relevant position
• Knowledge of Polish regulations and standards regarding the power grid,
• Knowledge of procedures resulting from the NC RfG network code, mainly EON, ION and FON,
• Knowledge of technologies in the field of solar energy and wind,
• Knowledge of legal requirements during the application process,

• Polish as mother language mandatory
• English proficiency level
