Our client is a leader in wind farm product development and O/M within the wind energy sector. For their local team in Hamburg, they are now looking for an experienced engineer with background in PLC and safety software development.
The operation of a wind turbine has high demands on the automation technology. A special aspect here is the functional safety of the wind turbine. In order to be able to shape this complex task well in a team, good knowledge of the processes for creating security-related software is required.
New and further development of control functions in the area of operational management of the wind turbine
Analysis of the wind turbine systems to define requirements for the safety-related software
Coordination and implementation of software functions for safety control
Definition of test and acceptance criteria for the wind turbine software
Coordination of automated HiL tests for sustainable quality assurance
Quality assurance through software tests on the wind turbine
Creation of the associated software documentation
Definition of processes in the safety software development environment
Completed degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in PLC software development according to IEC61131
Experience in defining requirements for software functions is required
Experience in security-related software development is required
First experience in looking after suppliers
good written and spoken English knowledge
High focus on results and pronounced quality awareness
