For our client, an international wind and solar energy developer with almost 1000 employees we are looking for Renewable Energy Environmental Engineer Expert in Italy.
The Role:
o Perform environmental feasibility assessment of onshore wind farms and solar PV plants.
o Perform environmental analysis of wind and solar PV projects and associated electrical infrastructures:
Biodiversity (fauna & flora).
Chiroptera studies.
Archeological and heritage assessment and studies.
Municipal and regional land use plans assessment.
Waste management.
Environmental reports during construction and operation.
o Elaborate all Environmental Impact Screening and Assessment(VIA/PUA) documentation provided in the frame of the Environmental Impact Assessment, either Regional and/or National.
o Analyze and elaborate all documentation for land compatibility, reforestation, and
get the Administration approval.
o Submit and agree on environmental compensation measures with the relevant Administrative
bodies.
o Track record obtaining Environmental Impact Approval for wind farms and PV plants.
o Liaise with external consultants supporting the environmental approval process and technical
due diligences.
Requirements:
o MSc in Agriculture (Agronomi), or Forestry (Forestali) Engineer MSc.
o At least five years professional experience in wind farms and PV plants Environmental Approval process.
o Experience in preparation of documentation for Environmental Impact Assessment approval for wind farms and PV plants.
o Advanced knowledge of MS Office, QGIS, ArcGis and National/Regional databases. o Teamwork.
o Independent way of working, commitment, creativity, accuracy
o Willingness to travel.
o Languages: Italian and English(C1).
