For our client, an international wind energy product manufacturer and construction/O&M services provider we for a legal counsel / fully qualified lawyer / in-house lawyer to strengthen our Legal Europe team with a focus on Eastern Europe for their location in Hamburg, Germany or Warsaw, Poland.
The central legal department of the Group acts as a business partner for all corporate functions related to the global activities of the company and advises them on all legal issues, particularly in the area of general civil, commercial and corporate law.
The Legal Europe team is part of the central legal department of the Group. As such, it is primarily responsible for providing legal support for the realization of on-shore wind farms in Europe, in particular complex contracts for the delivery of the wind turbines and the execution of related infrastructure works, as well as associated maintenance contracts and contracts with suppliers and service providers prepare and negotiate. In addition, the Legal Europe team supports all corporate functions involved in the construction and maintenance of the wind farms in all legal matters. The geographical focus of the advertised position is in Eastern Europe, especially Poland, the Baltic countries, Romania and Ukraine.
You draft and negotiate complex contracts for the delivery and construction of wind turbines, including the associated maintenance contracts and project-related contracts with suppliers and service providers.
You will support the relevant corporate functions as part of the project implementation with all legal issues, in particular with regard to defending against or asserting claims, if necessary also involving external lawyers.
They continuously advise the various national companies of the company in Eastern Europe on corporate law issues (corporate housekeeping) with the involvement of external lawyers.
You support the central company functions in the development of contract models and their negotiation with business partners, e.g. in the field of intellectual property.
You will draft, review and revise sample contracts and conduct internal training on legal issues.

You have passed your second state examination in law with above-average success or have acquired a comparable legal qualification in a member state of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.
You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a commercial law firm or a corporate legal department, ideally in the field of mechanical and plant engineering or the energy industry.
You enjoy solving complex legal issues while maintaining an entrepreneurial perspective.
Excellent negotiation skills are one of your strengths.
You are fluent in spoken and written English and ideally another European foreign language, preferably from Eastern Europe.
Working independently is a matter of course for you; However, you are also interested in working in a team with other members of the legal department.
You enjoy dealing with people and are interested in bringing your intercultural skills to bear in your work.
You are ready for work-related trips at home and abroad.
