Offshore Development Associate

We are one of the leading investors in offshore Wind in the world. For your office in Poland, in Warsaw or Gdynia, we are now looking for a Development Associate to be part of our growing team.

Your main tasks in this role will be to: 

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES▪Provide a Development supportat the engineering programme, identifying all key activities required to define and refine projects such that they can meet key stage gates.▪provide a support in managingland acquisition for onshore export cable infrastructure and onshore substation.▪Work on development and permitting of wind farm infrastructure, including offshore and onshore cable route location and permitting.▪provide a support inmanagingand control project documentation.▪Engage with port authoritiesand work ondevelopment of infrastructure for construction and operation of offshore wind project.▪support company activities on development ofoffshore/onshoresupply chain ▪Report progress on permitting work during the project development phase.▪Supportcompany activities in grid connection process.▪Support application tenders for new offshore wind farms ▪Where required, support the company’s work in monitoring and engagingin regulatory matters associated with the development and construction of offshore wind farm projects.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND A masters/bachelor degree in engineering or management discipline.
LANGUAGESFluent in Polish and English.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

OFFSHORE WIND PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
KNOWLEDGE
Experience in a multi-disciplinary projectenvironment is required. Demonstrable knowledge in all of the following areas is required:•Consenting processes associated with offshore wind farms in Poland.•Wind farm and transmission asset development processes with particular focus on early stage project definition and optimisation.•Wind farm and transmission asset development timescales.•Wind energy supply chain and logistics.•Planning and consenting processes associated with onshore and offshore transmission assets.
SKILLS•Excellent communication skills.•Strong interpersonal skills. •Ability to easily identify and resolve problems•Develops a general overview and understanding of projects.
OTHER REQUIREMENTSLocation is: Warsaw or Gdynia. Flexibility to travelis required.

LANGUAGES: Fluent in Polish and English. 

MOBILITY: Flexibility to travel.
