For our client, an international wind and solar energy developer with almost 1000 employees we are looking for Renewable Energy Legal Counsel in Italy.
The Role:
o Draft all surface right agreements, land lease and/or acquisition contracts and carry out expropriation procedures.
o Drafting permitting administrative documentation and communications with national, regional and local Administrations.
o Support contract negotiations with suppliers (EPC/BoP) and energy selling schemes (PPAs, Market, GSE).
o Drafting and negotiating agreements for sharing common electrical infrastructures with other developers.
o Liaise with internal experts and external consultants supporting the permitting and legal due diligence.
o Support M&A processes, including drafting NBOs, LOIs, SPAs and DSAs.
o Keep company legal records.
o Support and manage eventual lawsuits, which may arise in the course of the business.
Expectations:
Degree in Law.
o At least three years professional experience in permitting, drafting agreements and leading negotiations (landowners, convenzione, accordo condivisione, …).
o Team player.
o Advanced knowledge of MS Office, QGIS.
o Independent way of working, commitment, accuracy, organized.
o Willingness to travel.
o Languages: Italian and English(C1).
