Our client is one of the leading energy generation companies and investors in the world with both conventional and renewable energy projects all around the world.

For their European HQ we are looking for an enthusiast HR Generalist, reporting hierarchically to Central Europe HR Manager, to support HR Operations in Central Europe based in Vienna.


•Manage recruiting process (preparation of job descriptions, coordination of job interviews, correspondence with applicants, Hiring Managers, etc)

•Manage onboarding process of new hires

•Prepare and process purchase orders as well as be responsible for the administration of invoices of the Human Resources department

•Be responsible for updating employee files and ensuring the proper filing of various documents

•Prepare various documents in German and English (job references, job descriptions, work confirmations, employment agreements, bonus letters, etc.)

•Coordinate payroll matters with our external payroll provider (enrolment and cancellation of employees to health insurance, answering various questions related to payment of employees, etc)

•Be responsible for the time recording of employees (control of records regarding local law regulations, implementation of a new time recording tool, etc)

•Be a contact person for local employees in HR-related matters (including support for new employees from abroad)

•Support our international worker exchanges program

•Support relocations and social insurance requirements according to European law regulations

•Participate in Success Factors Implementation

•Ensure employees data are regularly updated in the dedicated HRIS tool

•Support the HR Manager on compliance with all HR policies and processes

•Coordinate Diversity and Inclusion activities and Plan according to local Legislation and corporate priorities in this matter


•Successfully completed at least higher business/labour relations education, Bachelor or Master is an additional plus

•Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in HR as Generalist

•Basic knowledge of Austria employment law is preferred

•Excellent spoken and written German and English skills

•Very good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

•Independent, detail-oriented and well-organized and flexible working style

•Strong service orientation and professional handling of confidential data

•Friendly, supportive and team-oriented personality
