For their team in Poland, we are now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Supporting the delivery of the Electrical Balance of Plant for offshore wind projects with particular focus in onshore and offshore substations, from early-stage development to operational stage (during O&amp;M stage), in collaboration with other technical, commercial and legal areas within the Corporate and Project Teams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"js0kyo js0k4w js0lka\">\n<li>Participate in the definition of the strategy for onshore and offshore substation in early phase of the projects: Project transmission configuration and equipment sizing and configuration, BoP requirements, schedule, technical solution validation, suitability assessment, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Definition of related technical specifications and Scopes of Work to be used in tenders.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in coordination with procurement department in the analysis of potential suppliers proposals in the areas of responsibility;<\/li>\n<li>Provide specialist electrical technical support to other work packages such as offshore substation package, onshore substation package, turbine package, for different offshore project as per request.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the adequate knowledge for supporting on the description and definition of the construction strategy for the onshore part of the project, having a clear knowledge and experience on construction.<\/li>\n<li>Support and carry out HAZIDs, HAZOPs, risk assessments, internal reviews and peer reviews for onshore and offshore substation, focused on the electrical side.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical input to tender and contract negotiations, including preparation of technical specifications for the tenders, in collaboration with other areas.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective collaboration with Procurement, Legal, HSE, etc<\/li>\n<li>Identify and monitor risks related to electrical field and implement any required risk mitigation actions<\/li>\n<li>Follow up and contribute in R&amp;D and Technology Qualification programs related to electrical subjects<\/li>\n<li>Ensure best practices and lessons learnt are shared between the projects within the company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ACADEMIC BACKGROUND<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Master\u2019s degree in engineering, Electrical speciality is desirable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LANGUAGES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project has an international team of employees, and the working language is English. Candidates is required be fluent in English both spoken and written.<\/p>\n<p>Polish language will be considered as advantage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"js0kyo js0k4w js0lka\">\n<li>Minimum five years of experience in similar roles within electrical area.<\/li>\n<li>Experience on renewables projects and construction skills is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Good engagement and proven relation between different disciplines to develop projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"js0kyo js0k4w js0lka\">\n<li>Knowledge of technical standards and industry practice across the different disciplines associated with the electrical package.<\/li>\n<li>Specific knowledge about the electrical balance of plant design and installation processes is required.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and competence within one or several of the following fields is also required: main electrical equipment, HVAC, auxiliary systems, control and\/ or protection system, FACTS.<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of the interfaces and complexity between the project&#8217;s work packages is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SKILLS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"js0kyo js0k4w js0lka\">\n<li>Team player who is willing and able to work with others to solve problems and share knowledge (Team worker)<\/li>\n<li>Proactive approach to optimizations and improvements (Proactive)<\/li>\n<li>Pro-active approach to identify a problem, and propose different solutions driven by a good understanding of the situation and company targets (Problem solving)<\/li>\n<li>Good justification of their own assumptions, beliefs and values (Critical thinking)<\/li>\n<li>Able to create, capture, preserve, share, communicate and apply knowledge so it can be effectively reused to strengthen individual decision making, improve team effectiveness and enhance business performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>OTHER REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Location in Warsaw or Gdynia, but travelling to supplier&#8217;s facilities and offices, local construction ports and constructions sites may be required.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>OFFER: the company offers a permanent employment contract, yearly bonus and additional benefits (head and life insurance, sports card, trainings among others)<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client is an international investor in renewable energy focusing on offshore investments.
