Currently, due to the growth of their project pipeline as well as recruitment needs we are looking for an Energy Market Director.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Define and execute the company\u2019s energy market strategy in Poland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Build, lead, and develop a high-performing energy market team, fostering expertise across trading, analytics, and regulatory domains.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee participation in wholesale electricity markets, with a strong focus on the balancing market and ancillary services.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and optimize revenue streams across energy trading, flexibility services, and capacity mechanisms.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage relationships with key market stakeholders, including TGE, PSE, regulators, aggregators, and other industry participants.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Contracts for Difference (CfDs).<\/li>\n<li>Drive the commercial strategy and market integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and other flexibility assets.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance while proactively shaping market positioning.<\/li>\n<li>Provide market insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate cross-functionally with asset management, finance, and development teams to maximize asset value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15+ years of experience in the energy sector, with a strong focus on electricity markets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Proven leadership experience, including building and managing high-performing teams.<\/li>\n<li>Deep knowledge of the Polish energy market, especially balancing markets and ancillary services.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of market stakeholders, including TGE, PSE, regulatory bodies, and aggregators.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in structuring and negotiating PPAs and CfDs.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and their market applications.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into business opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in energy, economics, engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client is a rapidly growing renewable energy company with over 17 years of history operating in Poland.
