Our client is an investor in both solar and wind projects with offices in more than 7 countries and operations in 3 continents. Currently for their office in Rome we are searching for an Electrical Engineer with experience in design of wind power plants in Italy or abroad. In this position you will be responsible for completing the following tasks:<\/p>\n
Perform technical feasibility assessment of onshore wind farms and electrical interconnection infrastructures (HVOL and substations).
\nDesign all aspects of wind farm projects regarding:
\nResource Assessment.
\nLayout tradeoffs.
\nWind turbine technical assessment.
\nCivil works: platforms, foundations, access roads.
\nElectrical infrastructures: internal electrical lines, MV\/HV OL and UL and MV\/HV Substations.
\nPlot List (Piano particellare) and expropriation.
\nElaborate all technical documentation, except environmental impact assessment, to be submitted for renewable Plant Sole Authorization, Grid Connection, Construction and entering into service.
\nLiaise with internal experts and external consultants supporting the project design and technical due diligence.
\nElaborate technical drawings with the details of the land affected for the land lease, surface right and\/or acquisition contracts.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:<\/p>\n
MSc in Electrical Engineering.
\nAt least five years professional experience in wind farms design.
\nExperience in preparation of administrative and executive projects for wind farms and electrical interconnection infrastructures (HVOL and substations).
\nExperience in preparation of technical documentation for grid access and connection requests.
\nTeam player.
\nAdvanced knowledge of WindPro, Civil 3D, Autocad, QGIS.
\nIndependent way of working, commitment, creativity, accuracy.
\nWillingness to travel.
\nLanguages: Italian and English (C1).<\/p>\n
