Our client is a local IPP with a strong financial back up from an international investment fund with offices in Warsaw and Gdynia. Their team is expanding and they are now looking for a Project Manager focused on Project Development from Greenfield to RTB to join their development department in Warsaw or Gdynia.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and permitting processes for utility-scale renewable energy projects. The role focuses on managing projects from early-stage development through key permitting milestones, ensuring regulatory compliance, schedule control, and coordination of all stakeholders involved in the pre-construction phase.
The successful candidate will combine strong project management skills with a solid understanding of administrative, environmental, and planning procedures applicable to large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the full development lifecycle of utility-scale renewable energy projects, from site identification through permitting readiness for construction

Coordinate and oversee permitting processes, including environmental decisions, zoning/planning approvals, grid connection conditions, and building permits

Act as the main point of contact for authorities, municipalities, consultants, landowners, and internal teams during the development phase

Work with specialised consultants (environmental, legal, technical, geotechnical, planning) and ensure timely delivery of required documentation

Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with applicable laws and permitting frameworks

Prepare clear status reports and recommendations for internal stakeholders and management

Identify development risks and propose mitigation strategies to protect project timelines and value
Required Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in project management within renewable energy development, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects

Hands-on experience with permitting and administrative processes for utility-scale energy projects

Strong understanding of environmental, planning, and building regulations relevant to renewable energy investments

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and parallel development workstreams

Experience working with consultants, public authorities, and grid operators
