Our client is an international investor in large scale offshore wind projects with international present and a big team in Poland. Currently for their development team we are looking for a Project Development Associate with experience in the development of infrastructure projects and a good understanding of permitting procedures in energy infrastructure projects. The position will report to the Head of Development and can be based in Warsaw or Gdynia- as the team is divided in both locations.
Your responsibilities in this position will include:
- Develop and coordinate permitting for onshore infrastructure of offshore wind projects, identifying all key activities required to define and refine projects such that they can meet key stage gates at development, construction and operational stage.
- Coordinate land acquisition for onshore export cable infrastructure and onshore substation.
- Coordinate relation with project stakeholders including local communities and authorities in cooperation with Stakeholder Associate.
- Work on development and permitting of onshore infrastructure, including, onshore infrastructure like substation, roads, cable route location.
- Control project documentation.
- Cooperate with O&M team to develop infrastructure for construction and operation of offshore wind project.
- Report progress on permitting work during the project development and construction phase.
- Coordinate relations with TSO (PSE) and support grid connection process and permits.
- Where required, support the company’s work in monitoring and engaging in regulatory matters associated with the development and construction of offshore wind farm projects.
REQUIRED LANGUAGES
The project has an international team of employees and the working language is English.
Candidates need to be fluent in English and Polish.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience within the wind energy sector is required.
- Experience in the development phase of projects is preferred.
- Experience in offshore wind development is desirable.
KNOWLEDGE
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary project environment is required.
- Consenting processes associated with offshore wind farms in Poland
- Wind farm and transmission asset developmet processes with particular focus on early stage project definition and optimisation.
- Wind farm and transmission asset development timescales.
- Offshore wind energy supply chain and logistics.
- Planning and consenting processes associated with onshore and offshore transmission assets.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Location in Warsaw or Gdynia but regular travel might be required.
OFFER: SALARY OF UP TO 18000 PLN GROSS PER MONTH PLUS BENEFITS
