Our client is an international IPP currently undergoing a rapid expansion in Europe with a  growing team based in Szczecin.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Creating, acquiring, and managing spatial data.
• Verifying and analyzing land suitability for renewable energy projects.
• Preparing basic documentation in compliance with relevant regulations, including spatial planning laws, environmental protection laws, and energy regulations.
• Working with QGIS software.
• Preparing and maintaining map documents.
• Designing layouts and arrangements for wind farms and photovoltaic installations, considering current regulations and industry standards.
• Analyzing zoning decisions, local development plans, and spatial planning studies.
• Communicating with public administration units to obtain planning documents.

Requirements:

• Higher education in spatial planning, geography, geodesy, or related fields.
• Proficiency in working with maps.
• Knowledge of GIS and CAD software.
• Strong understanding of GIS concepts and basic cartography principles (coordinate systems, projections, symbolization, etc.).
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluent English skills- this is a must for the position
• Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
• Familiarity with WindPro software is an advantage.
