Our client is an international investor in Renewable Energy projects across the globe with an important pipeline of projects. Currently we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager based in Warsaw to lead the project development department of the company in Poland.


As a member of the Warsaw based team, this role will focus on leading project development unit. This position require to create portfolio of tailored and unique development opportunities, participate in creation dedicated land scout team and also controlling process developed together with our partners (inorganic growth / co-development). This position requires from candidate to be business oriented with deeper knowledge of energy sector, existing standards, energy prices, upcoming trends. The ideal candidate should have track record in project development and commercial skills demonstrated by 4-5 years of experience, delivering projects on time and budget, and awareness of the market standards. This position required easiness in establishing and maintenance relation will all project shareholders and multi-disciplinary organization as well as good organization in managing of everyday tasks. This role will require a pro-active approach towards problem-solving, hard-work and commitment to execute viable opportunities and an open-minded collaborative approach to become an integral part of the team.


  • Creating and managing development team
  • Origination of business opportunities for large scale PV and Wind project
  • Creating business leads, leading negotiation process with business partners
  • Stay informed and participate in the creation of changes in the legislation on the development of projects
  • Development and coordination of implementation the wide portfolio of PV and Wind project on early stage of development;
  • Adequately budgeting, planning, organising, monitoring, and reporting on all phases of a project’s life cycle
  • Financial and technological analysis of renewable energy projects, selection of optimal solutions; Coordinate the project financially and operationally (to identify all needed project parties considering different interests, and to involve them to the project; contractors, subcontractors, land owners, DSOs, etc.)


  • Have at least 4-5 years of experience in project management (renewable projects will be an advantage);
  • Deep knowledge of the RES and energy market. (established relation with key IPP players, energy consumers, grid operators will be an advantage)
  • Team leading, management and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of the development process, rules of obtaining all decision, legislation;
  • Ability to express thought clearly and accurately, provide the necessary, accurate and properly processed information;
  • Ability to properly respond to emerging problems and solve them;
  • Active interest in technological innovation and aspiration for improvement;
  • Be fluent in English and Polish;
