FIELD SERVICES EXPERT SOLAR PV

Our client is one of the most promising roof top and utility scale investor in Europe with over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. Part of one of the largest renewable energy groups in the world. For their Warsaw HQ they are now looking for a Field Service Expert- an engineering able to manage both permitting and construction from the operational point of view. In this role you will elaborate execution projects of the contracted solutions and to develop methodologies, processes and procedures of planning and control of the installation works. Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontracted technical teams, ensuring the safety, quality of the work, compliance with work plans and budgets and optimal use of resources:
• Coordination of solar PV projects in SME or Big accounts ensuring the due diligence process after and before construction, procurement of materials and subcontractors, supervision of the activities of subcontracted technical teams, ensuring safety, quality of work and compliance with work plans and budgets and reporting opportunities to improve customer satisfaction index;
• Manage the network of subcontractors during the execution process;
•  Preparation of all follow-up documentation and work reports;
• Conduct the obtain all the due-diligence required to implement solar PV project with DSO and local entities ( local development plan, DSO interconnection conditions, building permits and environmental permits ( if applicable );
• Follow the company’s procedures for planning and controlling installation work at the level of execution time, costs and quality assurance / control;
• Prepare and execute the processes of measurement and verification of Solar Photovoltaic solutions in Customers;
• Plan and program resources manage supplies and project execution and oversee equipment installation work, construction and implementation of solutions for clients;
• Ensure the updating of information in corporate systems and promote customer billing;
• Manage the site surveys on site and feasibility assessments;
• Constant research and manage of relation with new partners ( Suppliers and Subcontractors);
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals;
• Support the selection and negotiation with suppliers of engineering and installation equipment and services;

REQUIREMENTS

  • experience and knowledge in the development as well as construction phase of PV projects
  • 3 years of experience in management of subcontractors ideally within the PV industry
  • experience in rooftop projects
  • advanced Excel
  • Engineering Degree
  • advanced level of English
