Our client is one of the leading construction companies in the energy sector currently undergoing a fast international expansion. For their Romanian office we are looking for a motivated Cost Estimator / Tender Specialist with expertise in electrical and energy projects. In this role, you will prepare cost estimates and manage tenders for renewable energy and general construction projects while coordinating with suppliers, designers, and investors.

Requirements:

• Higher technical education in electrical engineering or energy.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Ability to read and interpret technical project documentation.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2).
• Experience in the renewable energy sector is an advantage.
• Flexibility, organizational skills, reliability, and readiness to travel on business trips.
• Willingness to occasional business trips and a valid Category B driving license.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, MS Project) and CAD tools.
• Knowledge of material and service prices in the electrical and renewable energy sectors.
• Knowledge of construction processes and applicable regulations in Romania will be an advantage.

Job Description

• Interpret investor requirements to prepare cost estimates, offers, and budgets in the required format.
• Request quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and project-specific resources; monitor the market, negotiate, and evaluate offers for quality and reliability.
• Review and verify project documentation in terms of technology, finances, and optimization together with designers and site managers.
• Prepare pricing for electrical, energy, and general construction works based on tender documentation, project specifications, and internal calculations.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments, the Investor, the Project Department, and the Implementation Department.

SALARY 16000 RON per month plus additional benefits.
