For their office on Poland we are looking for Head of Development Manager.

Your Role

As Head of Development Poland, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the company’s project pipeline in wind and solar, while driving strategic initiatives that shape the future of renewable energy in Poland. This leadership role combines project strategy, stakeholder engagement, and team management, offering the opportunity to significantly impact the company’s growth in the Polish market.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and further develop the Development organisational unit in Poland.

• Contribute to the design and execution of project development strategies.

• Prepare proposals and strategic recommendations for the Executive Board.

• Plan initiatives, allocate resources, and oversee project control and documentation.

• Ensure the delivery of agreed project objectives within scope, time, and budget.

• Lead the prospecting team and secure efficient execution of tasks.

• Coordinate with internal departments and ensure cross-functional alignment.

• Build and maintain relationships with local decision-makers, shareholders, and external partners.

• Participate in contract negotiations and support new project acquisitions.

• Ensure a robust, sustainable expansion of the wind, PV, and PtX pipeline up to commissioning.

• Contribute to the development of hybrid power plants and identify new strategic sites.

• Adapt strategies to evolving regulatory frameworks.

Your Profile

• Education: Degree in Business Administration, Urban and Regional Planning, Political Science, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a senior development role, ideally with leadership responsibility.

• Expertise:

  • Proven track record in wind and PV project development in Poland.

  • Strong understanding of project lifecycles, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience in project acquisitions, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement.

• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop staff, and manage performance effectively.

• Competencies: Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

• Languages: Polish and English fluent at negotiation level; German is a plus.

• IT Skills: Confident in using project management and resource planning tools.
