The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with Romanian legislation, client requirements and international HSE standards throughout all project phases.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The HSE Manager will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Management, subcontractors and the Client to ensure that all construction activities are executed safely and efficiently.<\/p>\n<h5>Key Responsibilities<\/h5>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Develop, implement and maintain the Project HSE Management Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with Romanian HSE regulations, client requirements and internal HSE standards and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Promote a proactive safety culture across the project site.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and workplace risk assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor compliance of subcontractors with HSE requirements and contractual obligations.<\/li>\n<li>Lead daily safety briefings, toolbox talks and HSE meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare HSE reports, statistics and project documentation for internal management and the Client.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper implementation of emergency response procedures and organize emergency drills.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate HSE training and induction programs for all personnel working on site.<\/li>\n<li>Support project management in identifying and mitigating project-related HSE risks.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, pollution prevention and environmental protection measures.<\/li>\n<li>Cooperate with external authorities, inspectors and the Client regarding HSE matters.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor HSE performance indicators and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Requirements<\/h5>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>University degree in Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Environmental Engineering, Engineering or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3\u00a0years of experience\u00a0in an HSE role on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience on renewable energy projects (wind, solar or power infrastructure) is highly preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of Romanian HSE legislation and European health and safety regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working for EPC contractors or on international construction projects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of construction risk management and incident investigation methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing subcontractor HSE performance.<\/li>\n<li>HSE certifications such as NEBOSH International General Certificate, IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or equivalent will be considered an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence safe behaviours across multicultural teams.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English (written and spoken); Romanian language skills are a strong advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Good command of MS Office and HSE reporting tools.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to work full-time on site in Romania.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>What We Offer<\/h5>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Opportunity to work on a major utility-scale wind farm construction project in Romania.<\/li>\n<li>International and dynamic working environment.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration with experienced engineering and construction professionals.<\/li>\n<li>Competitive remuneration package.<\/li>\n<li>Long-term career development opportunities within the renewable energy sector.<\/li>\n<li>Challenging and rewarding work in a fast-growing industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for an experienced HSE Manager\u00a0to oversee all Health, Safety and Environmental activities during the construction of a utility-scale wind farm in Romania.
