They are mainly focused on larger industrial and commercial projects.<\/p>\n<p>Currently we are searching for a key position in their team- a Country Manager with a strong knowledge of the Distributed Generation Market in Poland as well as strong commercial and business development abilities. A proven record of success in this sector either as an Operational, Commercial or Technical high level professional is required for this position. We are looking for a strong personality with ability to manage teams, implement strategies successfully, someone with a strong focus on sales and business development with the ability to inspire the team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note POLISH LANGUAGE IS A MUST FOR THE ROLE as well as PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN DG (decentralised energy) IS MANDATORY. CANDIDATES WITHOUT THIS EXPERIENCE\/KNOWLEDGE WILL NOT BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT<\/p>\n<p>Define and execute the company&#8217;s strategy for the Polish market, aligned with group objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Identify market opportunities in decentralized energy solutions (e.g., solar PV, self-consumption, energy efficiency, storage).<\/p>\n<p>Analyze regulatory frameworks, competitive landscape, and customer needs to guide strategic decisions.<\/p>\n<p>Develop and manage the country business plan, including revenue targets and growth roadmap.<\/p>\n<p>COMMERCIAL KNOWLEDGE AND LEADERSHIP<\/p>\n<p>Drive commercial performance and ensure achievement of sales and profitability targets.<\/p>\n<p>Build and lead the local sales organization, focusing on key segments such as industrial, commercial, and logistics sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders (clients, developers, EPCs, financial partners).<\/p>\n<p>Oversee negotiation of major contracts and key deals.<\/p>\n<p>OPERATIONS<\/p>\n<p>Ensure efficient delivery of projects, from origination to execution and commissioning.<\/p>\n<p>Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, operations) and external partners.<\/p>\n<p>Monitor project pipeline, timelines, and margins.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.<\/p>\n<p>CORPORATE SUPPORT<\/p>\n<p>Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing local team across functions.<\/p>\n<p>Foster a strong company culture aligned with the company&#8217;s values and mission.<\/p>\n<p>Promote collaboration between local and international teams.<\/p>\n<p>Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance management processes.<\/p>\n<p>BUDGET AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT<\/p>\n<p>Own the P&amp;L for Poland, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.<\/p>\n<p>Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.<\/p>\n<p>Optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Work closely with finance teams on reporting and performance analysis.<\/p>\n<p>STAKEHOLDER EXPOSURE AND MANAGEMENT<\/p>\n<p>Act as the main representative of the company in Poland.<\/p>\n<p>Build relationships with key market players, regulators, associations, and partners.<\/p>\n<p>Support brand positioning and visibility in the market.<\/p>\n<p>Engage with the international leadership team on strategic alignment.<\/p>\n<p>RISK AND COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT<\/p>\n<p>Identify and mitigate business risks (regulatory, operational, financial).<\/p>\n<p>Ensure compliance with local laws, industry standards, and internal policies.<\/p>\n<p>Maintain high standards of governance and ethical business conduct.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The company OFFERS a very attractive salary plus benefits package and a bonus for performance.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client is a well-known company with a team already in place in Poland operating in the Distributed Generation area with a number of projects already under operation in Poland.
