We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Specialist to support wind energy projects at various stages of development, construction, and operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance, minimizing project impacts, and promoting sustainable practices across the organization\u2019s renewable energy portfolio.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and environmental due diligence for wind energy projects<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Manage environmental permitting processes and maintain communication with regulatory authorities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Ensure compliance with applicable local, national, and international environmental regulations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Ensure ESG compliances and support the integration of ESG standards across projects and organizational processes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental Management Plans (EMPs)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Oversee environmental performance during construction and operational phases<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Coordinate biodiversity studies and mitigation measures<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Prepare environmental documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Support sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement of environmental standards<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Supervise and mentor junior environmental specialists, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional development<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, or a related field<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Experience in the renewable energy sector is highly desirable<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting procedures<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Willingness to travel to project sites as required<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
