For our client, an international company specialized in developing renewable energy projects we are looking for a Country Manager for Chile. Our client is a company already present in the country with a track record of developing PMGD projects  now looking to focus on utility scale projects. In this role you will

• Create and analyze new development opportunities and monitor of existing development pipeline
• Evaluate routes to market for the electrical output of projects under development by the Company
  
• Manage the commercial aspects of projects to ensure that financial objectives are achieved
• Contact private and public stakeholders and authorities
• Have experience in the infrastructure sector particularly; power and utilities, transport, resources, health and education sector projects. Experience in Chile in the PPP / PFI and project financing sector would be advantageous
• Lead and promote project development work across Chile in different renewable energy technology
• Ability to strategize, recruit, train and lead team members
• Define strategic planning, goals and tactics
• Support management team in negotiations, preparations and project financing
• Building good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

The ideal candidate Will have:

• Extensive experience in Project development- managing projects from the commercial or financial standpoint
• Excellent level of English is a must
• Finance or Engineering-Commercial background preferable – higher education
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Substantial knowledge and network within the energy sector and authorities in Chile
• Independent and proactive, goal-oriented mind set
• Leadership skills, with an outstanding ability to create positive cooperation within the team members
