Our client is one of the biggest players in the wind energy sector in the world. Currently for their finance team we are looking for an experienced controller to join their team as a Subsidiaries Controller.

YOUR TASKS IN THIS POSITION WILL INCLUDE:

• Ensure DEU financial reports are prepared according to the group corporate accounting policy and IFRS standards in a timely manner
• Support coordination of period-end close (e.g., month-end, quarter, year-end etc.) with specific focus and direct responsibility for “non-SAP”entities (i.e. interface towards external finance service providers)
• Support the coordination of the annual audit for “non-SAP” entities
• Review, together with local FM’s, the monthly profit and loss accounts on local GAAP level to ensure revenue and costs are correctly booked andreported
• Providing tax and statistical reporting to statutory authorities, including

YOUR EXPERIENCE UP TO DATE:

• At least five years related experience
• Affinity to improve and automate financial processes with relevant experience
• Must possess a strong understanding of IFRS requirements and financial controls
• Working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports
• Working experience in international environment is an advantage
• Ability to work with all levels of management
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workload
• Versatility, flexibility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong teamwork orientation and flexibility to adapt to frequent​​​​​​​ organisation changes
