TECHNICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST

Our client is an international investor now building one of the first offshore wind projects in Poland. For their Security team they are searching now for a limited contract until the end of 2028 for someone in the position of Technical Security Specialist. 

The candidate will support the planning, implementation, and operation of technical security solutions for critical infrastructure. The Role contributes to defining system requirements, supporting system integration and project delivery, monitoring compliance with regulatory standards, and assisting in strengthening infrastructure resilience through reporting, coordination, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Verification, implementation of changes, and supervision over the execution of Technical Security Systems (SBT)projects

Defining requirements and scopes for individual security systems;

Developing principles for cooperation and interoperability between individual SBT systems; Establishing assumptions for building a PSIM integration system, divided into individual Technical Security subsystems;

Coordinating all activities related to the deployment and acceptance of technical security systems;

Reporting to the supervisor on the status of security measures and recommending solutions to strengthen infrastructure resilience;

Supporting investment projects and designs related to security;

Supervising the compliance of Technical Security Systems infrastructure design with

applicable legal regulations and national and European standards regarding critical infrastructure protection;

Preparing the company for internal and external audits related to critical infrastructure security;

Organizing and delivering training sessions and exercises in critical infrastructure protection, preparing personnel to respond to crisis situations;

Cooperating with the Critical Infrastructure Protection Officer, Classified Information Protection Officer, Cybersecurity Officer, as well as IT, logistics, and administration departments and external contractors in maintaining technical infrastructure security systems;

Developing, implementing, and updating procedures and standards for physical protection of infrastructure, including access control systems, monitoring, and technical security systems.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

At least secondary technical education.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the area of infrastructure security. Holding a security clearance authorizing access to classified information at the ‘Restricted’ level in previous organizations.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledge and skills in technical security systems;

Basic knowledge of standards and their application, including:

  • Intrusion and Hold-Up Alarm Systems (SSWiN) in accordance with PN-EN 50131-1;
  • Access Control Systems (SKD) in accordance with PN-EN 60839-11-1;
  • Video Surveillance Systems (CCTV) in accordance with PN-EN 62676-1-1 and PN-EN 62676-4;
  • Ability to work with PN-EN 16763 in the context of compliance with the implementation and operation of technical security systems;

Basic knowledge of issues related to critical infrastructure protection

Category B driving licence;

LANGUAGES

The project has an international team of employees and the working language is English.

Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written. Other languages will be highly valued.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

A certificate from the National Criminal Register – confirming a clean criminal record.

Full possession of public rights.

Certified Technical Security Systems Specialist

Additional skills considered an asset during the recruitment process:

Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures, as well as to develop, update, and archive security documentation, including documentation related to critical infrastructure protection;

Practical experience in developing and implementing business continuity plans and incident response plans;

Experience working in public institutions or entities within the critical infrastructure sector. 

Knowledge of regulations related to critical infrastructure protection, crisis management, protection of classified information, and the national cybersecurity system;

Industry certifications and authorizations for working with system integration platforms; SEP E qualifications.

OFFER:

Limited contract on a B2B basis, maximum budget 15-17000 PLB net. Home office work possible. 21 days of paid leave.
