ELECTRICAL WORKS MANAGER

This position is offered by a well-established company operating in the renewable energy and power infrastructure sector, delivering large-scale wind and photovoltaic projects across Europe.

Work schedule: Monday–Friday (business travel required)
Location: FW Bravo, Urleasca, Braila County, Romania
Salary range: €5,500 – €7,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Role Overview

As an Electrical Works Manager, you will play a key role in the execution of a major wind farm project. You will be responsible for overseeing electrical works on-site, ensuring that all activities are delivered safely, on time, and in line with quality standards and technical requirements. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders in a dynamic construction environment.

Responsibilities
  • Close day-to-day cooperation with the Construction Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth project execution
  • Supervision and coordination of subcontractors, with a strong focus on quality control, compliance with health & safety regulations, and adherence to project timelines
  • Development and regular updating of work schedules, progress reports, and construction plans
  • Planning and coordinating on-site electrical works, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely delivery of milestones
  • Cross-functional coordination with teams from other disciplines (civil, mechanical, etc.) to maintain alignment across the project
  • Acting as the company’s representative on-site in interactions with the client, supervision inspectors, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders
  • Preparation, verification, and ongoing maintenance of construction documentation, including reports, protocols, and official records required for the construction logbook
  • Identifying risks and proposing solutions to ensure continuity and efficiency of works
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the construction of medium-voltage (MV) cable lines
  • Communicative level of English (ability to work in an international project environment)
  • Valid ANRE certification (minimum Grade IIIB)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and HSE standards
  • Experience in high-voltage (HV) line construction, wind farm electrical infrastructure, or large-scale photovoltaic projects will be considered a strong advantage
  • Ability to manage teams, work under pressure, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work on a rotation basis and travel as required
