For our client, a rapidly expanding renewable energy developer, investor, and operator, currently in a highly dynamic growth phase, we are now looking for a Project Development Manager (Poland) to identify suitable sites for solar PV, BESS, and onshore wind projects.
Your responsibilities:

Assess and develop new project opportunities aligned with company strategy, mainly in solar PV, wind, and BESS;

Identify optimal land areas and negotiate with landowners and stakeholders through to contract finalisation;

Build and manage a network of local partners, such as real estate agents, energy advisors, and other introducers, to secure new land opportunities;

Oversee and support the permitting process, including environmental assessments and grid connection applications;

Collaborate with local communities, authorities, elected officials, and trade unions;

Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance of all projects;

Prepare, track, and manage project timelines, budgets, and risk assessments;

Foster transparent and trust-based relationships with all stakeholders;

Maintain and update the Polish database of land agreements.
Requirements:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in environmental planning, landscape architecture, urban planning, engineering, geography, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience);

At least 5 years of professional experience, including 2–3 years in land acquisition and project development, preferably within renewable energy projects such as PV or wind;

Strong negotiation and commercial skills;

Driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Poland;

Native-level Polish (or equivalent) and solid command of English;

Comfortable with site visits, land negotiations, and meetings with authorities or organisations;

Proactive, independent, and capable of working both autonomously and within a team;

Eager to embrace new challenges and propose innovative solutions;

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks flexibly and handle setbacks with a problem-solving mindset.
