Our client is one of the leaders in the wind energy industry present in the market for over 30 years. For its logistics team we are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic logistics expert open to develop for the the green water logistics and create a new network of collaborators with green water ports all over Germany. For this challenging task we are looking for a German fluent speaker with an entrepreneurial spirit and ambition to build this area within the corporation.
In this role you will be responsible for:

Development of inland waterway-based routes – between the company’s suppliers or the company’s  arrival ports and the installation regions
Classification of storage, loading, and transport capacities in the currently possible loading/import ports
Development of the „Rhine Rail” route
Evaluation key for inland ports based on transport, unloading, and storage capacities
Specification of requirements for „landing points”
Design of ship-size and component-related delivery options

YOUR PROFILE
Operational experience in inland waterway transport, with market overview of multi-purpose tonnage, or heavy transport logistics with its inherent infrastructure and administrative limitations
Accustomed to thinking, planning, and negotiating in a pan-European manner
Strong cost awareness

The new paths to be developed here must be „experienced” – including support in planning and (at least initially) presence in execution. A fundamental, unconditional willingness to travel is therefore a prerequisite.
