Our client is an international energy investment group specialised in renewable energy projects. Currently for their team we are looking for a Project Development Director to support the development and permitting verification process of the projects the company is developing or analysing for acquisition.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Project Development Oversight: Oversee and coordinate the development of renewable energy projects, particularly wind farms, ensuring they progress to the „Ready to Build” (RTB) phase. This includes projects managed by the Company or its Affiliated Entities.
• Documentation and Approvals: Manage the preparation and acquisition of necessary engineering and technical documentation, as well as all required administrative and legal approvals (e.g., permits, licenses) for project development.
• Risk Analysis: Analyze legal and technical due diligence reports to identify and mitigate risks associated with project development.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, service providers, legal firms, and technical advisors to ensure smooth project progression.
• Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation necessary for project approvals and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications:

• Experience in developing renewable energy projects, especially wind farms.
• Strong understanding of engineering, technical, and legal documentation and processes.
• Excellent analytical skills for risk assessment and due diligence.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in preparing and managing project documentation.
