 Eolus is Swedens first commercial wind power developer, and we are currently on a growth journey where we are expanding into new markets. We are open to candidates who have both long and short experience of working in the renewable sector and are searching for two development managers to lead the expansion of our future project portfolio within wind, solar and energy storage in Poland.

As we are building our team in Poland, you will join us at an early stage and work strategically with the development of Eolus presence in the country. This involves working in an agile manner, handling whatever tasks that come your way, so flexibility and creativity is key.

As a Development Manager, you will work with identifying and developing wind, solar and energy storage projects, from early development phase to establishment. This involves search and evaluation of land areas that may be suitable for renewable energy projects and securing land agreements through dialogue and negotiation with landowners and other stakeholders. You enjoy networking and building long-term business relationships, and we expect you to have a well-established network of relevant contacts in Poland.

Due to the commercial nature of the role, we expect you to have experience of financial calculation and assessment of commercial viability of renewable energy projects, and we believe that you have solid analytical capabilities. Experience of transactions is viewed as a merit.

You will be part of the companys Origination (Business Development) function, and report directly to our local Country Manager in Poland. Your educational background is preferably in engineering or business at university level or equivalent.

To be suitable for this role, we believe that you have experience of business and project development in the renewable energy sector, and if you have in-depth knowledge of wind or solar development this is a merit. However, work experience in business and project development from another sector where land use agreements are used is also of interest. Knowledge of local planning and development guidelines for large-scale projects is a must.

 

Mandatory requirements for this role is fluency in polish and english, both in writing and speech. We also expect you to have experience of working in GIS and a valid driving license.

 

This is a full-time position, based at our office in Warszaw, and you can expect the role to involve some travelling.
