Our client is one of the leading solar players with a global presence. For their construction team in Warsaw we are looking currently for an experienced Project Manager.

The Project Manager (PM) will overview the engineering, procurement, and construction process for the PV Solar project. Working with the PMO team to track the project’s progress.

PM’s primary responsibilities include overseeing construction, avoiding change orders, keeping projects on schedule, ensuring construction quality, and contract administration.

Conducting meetings within the EPC department, technical meetings, etc. Organization of work at all stages of the PV project. Provide monthly progress reports to the PMO Team.


  • Management of EPC Solar PV project program, project team and project contracts starting in the design phase through to O&M and client handover (PAC)
  • Project preparation, including technical management of documentation, coordination of multifunctional project team, and communication with external stakeholders
  • Project execution, including cross-functional coordination with the construction management, coordination of acceptance procedures, and handover to the O&M and post-construction team
  • Discussing and agreeing technical and commercial specifics internally and with the client (including variations)
  • Monitoring project plans and project schedules along with contractors.
  • Stay in contact with the PMO team, prepare and conduct meetings with contractor representatives.
  • Oversee contract processes and documents such as RFIs and change orders, preparing them for management review and approval.
  • Provide an overview of all contractor documents such as commissioning, quality assurance, and quality control work/reporting. Coordinate internal/external engineering support as needed.
  • Provide initial evaluation of all Contractor payment applications to ensure accuracy relative to actual project construction status.
  • Experience in establishing working relationships and contacts with local authorities,
  • Knowledge of environmental, construction and energy law.

Required Skills:

  • Academic degree, preferably in the field of renewable energies or engineering.
  • Relevant experience within the EPC renewable energy industry in positions of responsibility.
  • Knowledge of Solar project obligatory permitting process
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders
  • English and Polish (native speaker or excellent command)
  • Strong general computing skills such as Excel, MS Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent solution-seeking, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills extend across all organisational and management levels.

Work Environment:

  • Typical office environment. Based in Warsaw.
  • 10% to 15% of the time requires business travelling.
