CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER- FINANCIAL MANAGER

Our client is a global investor in biogas plants with a solid position in Poland and the rest of Europe. For their expanding team in Poland we are now looking for a CFO/Financial Manager to manage their local team. Apart from a strong knowledge of finance and accountancy, the ideal candidate should have experience in Project Finance ( in real estate, energy, infrastructure development, industrial sector) and managing relationships with banks in this process. We are looking for a driven, experienced professional with excellent management capabilities and also good communication skills as you will also be responsible for growing the local finance team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the company’s financial planning and management control.
  • Conducting risk management
  • Prepare investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
  • Head and control the company’s fundraising plans (project financing)
  • Management of cash flow
  • Forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual results
  • Preparing budgets and financial reports
  • Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risk
  • Evaluate investments and models
  • Establish strong commercial relationship with Financial institution (Banking Map)

MAINS RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all finance operations and processes.
  • Prepare budget, financial forecasts and monthly reporting
  • Heading fundraising plans (project finance debt) and manage relationship and reporting to banks/financial institutions
  • Setting up and overseeing the company’s finance IT system (Including ERP)
  • Conduct analysis and reports to board of directors
  • Over time setup financial team and supervise team
  • Build and control financial models that are used for investment decisions
  • Conduct analysis of operational results of investments
  • Process implementation in terms of: purchases, accounting, administration, cash flow to standardize the activity of the company.

  • Proven work experience in senior role in finance department
  • Experience in project financing
  • Team building and management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills in both Polish and English
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
  • In-depth understanding of cash flow management
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Good understanding of legal contracts
  • Experience in Renewable energy an advantage
