Our client is one of the leading geothermal hearting companies and currently they are developing their operations in Poland. For their growing team, we are looking for a Business Development Lead.

We are looking for a business development lead with current or recent experience in the Polish district heating sector, to connect with potential customers in Poland. Your role will be to connect to the district heating industry in Poland as well as to important local stakeholders.

You will progress business leads to commercial projects, building on in-country as well as HQ resources. You will provide Company with a comprehensive overview of the district heating landscape and together with colleagues, create a business plan integrating commercial, regulatory and technical aspects to secure new business in Poland.

Furthermore, you will run commercial negotiations and design business models suitable to the Polish market.

We are looking for

To be considered for this role, you need to:

• Be experienced with business development for complex projects with long sales cycles

• Understand and know district heating systems (ecosystem of existing companies and individuals, regulatory/political landscape, transition plans & technical solutions in use)

  • Be respected, energetic and charismatic – and able to create the first inroads for Company into Poland and create a strong lead pipeline
  • Have excellent communication skills and be fluent in Polish and English.
    You must also have experience with the district heating sector in from Poland, most likely with more

    than 5 years in that market.

    The position is intended to be located in Poland (this could be flexible) with a significant amount of time spent at HQ in Denmark (Copenhagen area) for onboarding during the first 6 months.
