Blade Repair Team Manager

Responsibilities:

The job holder is part of the Blade Repair Service Europe Team and in this roll coordinating rotor blade repair teams to perform high quality repairs and inspections all over Europe in the Company Service fleet. This is achieved while using the latest repair technology based on profound trainings, the collaboration with the Blade Service & Composites team and always an eye on safety.

·       Coordinate 4 to 8 Blade Repair Teams all over Europe

·       Planning and control of work execution

·       First contact for blade repair teams

·       Create repair and inspection documentation for internal customers

·       Optimize work execution to increase efficiency

·       Deliver work documentation to local customers

·       Organize correct tooling, equipment and material to execute repairs

·       Report work progress actively to internal stakeholders

·       Organize team travels

·       Document and report costs

Our requirements

  • Experience with rotor blade repairs or similar tasks
  • Related studies or comparable assimilated knowledge through experience
  • Experience in operational blade service business is a must
  • Project management skills
  • English good communication skills in spoken and written (at least B2)
  • Good knowledge of production processes and materials of blades
  • International communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of relevant MS Office is a must
  • Basic knowledge of relevant SAP
  • Result orientation, systematic problem-solving behaviour, trouble-shooter
  • Teamwork & collaboration
  • High level of customer orientation
  • EU citizen
  • Driving license class B
