Our client is a key investor in solar and wind projects. Currently we are looking for an Asset Manager to be based either near or in Bari or Potenza to join their team and be responsible for the developing assets in the south of Italy where most of the company’s assets currently are under operation.


  • Plans and develops all project profit & loss (P&L) activities
  • Leads the development of project-level annual budgets and longer-term business plans
  • Provides explanations to the company’s, financing partners, and power off-takers regarding financial and operation performance as compared to budget
  • Updates financial estimates on a quarterly basis in collaboration with the Finance team
  • Interfaces with project site staff and Performance Management team to identify means of increasing financial performance
  • Performs ad-hoc analyses of the historical and forward-looking performance of the asset
  • Meets reporting obligations to financing entities by providing necessary commentary and reports as required under the company’s financing obligations
  • Works with other Asset Management staff and the Accounting team to ensure that reporting obligations are met in a timely manner
  • Oversees commercial activities by giving support to commercial deals, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Renewable Energy Credit (REC) sales, and sales of ancillary services
  • Leads resolution of significant agreement issues that stem from the operation of the project (e.g., equipment warranties, landowner agreements, PPAs, financing agreements, wind forecasting, tax agreements, interconnection agreements)
  • Supports the development and implementation of financing agreements as needed
  • Interfaces with portfolio management and equity partners to ensure that issues are being resolved and that the asset is operating as intended
  • Works with Asset Management staff to ensure settlement and routine reporting procedures are in place as projects become operational
  • Ensures commercial and governmental obligations are met by tracking key milestones within the major agreements (e.g., turbine supply, O&M, PPA, tax equity, landowner, and interconnection)
  • Acts as the single point of contact for compiling and communicating high-level issues across the respective fleet to an assigned turbine supplier
  • Notifies relevant staff and helps to resolve issues when milestones are delinquent or a trigger event has occurred
  • Creates and develops market knowledge, becoming the resident expert in how the respective project’s electricity market is structured
  • Communicates with various market balancing authorities as needed
  • Drives initiatives across the portfolio in an effort to improve fleet performance by facilitating solutions with input from Engineering, Operations, and Performance Analysis
  • Provides updates to, and seeks approval from, the company’s NA’s Executive Committee as needed based on business activities and special projects
  • Collaborates with other staff to ensure that proper asset management processes and tasks are in place in order to improve overall facility performance and limit risk exposure
  • Participates in Development and Construction meetings to ensure that operational and asset management requirements, and major contract and financing requirements, are met
  • Additional duties as required


REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years of relevant experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database development and management
