ELECTRICAL WORKS MANAGER

Electrical Works Manager – Renewable Energy | Lithuania

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Works Manager to join an international company operating in the renewable energy sector and support the delivery of large-scale energy projects in Lithuania.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and control electrical and telecommunications construction works within the scope of the required professional authorisations, including projects up to 110 kV.
  • Oversee the construction and installation of cable lines, transformer stations and related electrical infrastructure.
  • Monitor the quality, progress and compliance of electrical works with approved designs, technical specifications and applicable regulations.
  • Ensure that construction activities comply with Lithuanian construction and energy legislation.
  • Coordinate electrical works with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
  • Monitor the correct execution of works on site and ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and technical requirements.
  • Identify and resolve technical and organisational issues arising during construction.
  • Cooperate with engineering, project management and other teams to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.
  • Support the preparation, verification and coordination of construction and technical documentation.
  • Cooperate with relevant local authorities and energy-sector stakeholders as required.
  • Maintain relationships with local construction companies, electrical contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Represent the electrical construction function on site and ensure that project requirements are properly implemented.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Works Manager, Electrical Construction Manager, Site Manager, Electrical Engineer or in a similar position.
  • Relevant professional authorisation to supervise and control electrical and/or telecommunications works, registered in the Lithuanian SSVA system, for projects up to 110 kV.
  • Authorisation covering higher voltage levels will be considered an additional advantage.
  • Practical experience in the construction of cable lines, transformer stations, substations or other electrical infrastructure.
  • Good knowledge of Lithuanian energy law and relevant industry procedures.
  • Knowledge of Litgrid and VERT procedures.
  • Good knowledge of Lithuanian construction law and administrative procedures.
  • Strong understanding of the Lithuanian construction and energy market, including local contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Previous experience working directly on a construction site and willingness to work on site on a stationary basis.
  • Lithuanian – fluent/professional level.
  • English – minimum B1 level, sufficient for communication within an international project environment.
  • Polish language will be considered an additional advantage.
  • Category B driving licence.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take responsibility and effectively coordinate multiple parties involved in the construction process.
