Our client is one of the leading companies offering solar rooftop and energy sales solutions for the Commercial and Industrial sector. We are now searching for a Junior Controller ideally with strong financial and reporting experience and knowledge of SAP and English for their local Polish office.

As a Junior Controller you will be responsible for Corporate Finance and Management matters on an on-going basis, such as Financial Plan of the organization, Financing and Business Support. Please note our client’s organization is not large, and hence they are looking for someone on a specialist level of expertise wanting to move into a more responsible role in a small structure. You will not have direct reports or a team to manage, hence this is a great opportunity for someone with  accounting and finance reporting experience wishing to move into a high responsibility role. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overall coordination with CEO/Country Manager of financial related matters
• Preparation of financial reports, budgets and all planning and control analysis activities as needed
• Reviews funding needs, plans and forecasts cash and liquidity necessities in coordination with the rest of the Finance team
• Suports the preparation of information for the annual report and accounts in coordination with accounting service provider
• Supports Financial Accountants in the preparation of accounting information
• Controls and monitors all tax procedures and ensuring compliance with tax obligations in coordnation with loical service provider
• Contacts with service providers in the context of financial and tax due diligence and reviews the conclusions to support transaction documents (SPA, SHA, others)
• Regular meetings with CEO/Country Manager as well as DG Head of finance and corporate team to present results and support decision making process
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Financial performance monitoring and variance analysis
• Management reporting
• Business partnering with operational teams
• Driving financial insights to support decision-making

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any similar.
• 4-6 years of experience in accounting firm or similar postion
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Comprehensive technical and accounting skills.
• Advanced level of Excel is a must.
• Knowledge of finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP
• Knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
• Ability to identify financial issues, develop and execute mitigating actions.
• Advanced level of English (C1)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and service provider.
